I was born and raised in Madras (now Chennai), India. I have practically been a home bound gal all my life. I never set foot
in a hostel nor did I really have a chance to manage my own accounts until I decided to tie the knot!
"Technically", I am a dietitian by education although I have never got the chance to practice as one! I am
also 'partly' a post graduate in Human Development from Bangalore University. Currently I am planning to pursue my MS in Clinical
Psychology.
The past couple a years have given me a chance to explore the world of volunteerism in a wide variety of ways. I 've been
fortunate enough to have worked at Kaiser, Santa Clara city library, the American Red Cross amongst others.
My life has also predominantly been dominated by music, right from a very early age. I am "supposed" to have
started singing while I was about 2-3 years old. More often than not, my fingers and feet starts tapping for most kinds of
music, although I should honestly admit that the hard rock types are still being worked on (-:
I currently reside in the United states with my husband Manohar.
